The Turo Car Rental Data API provides structured access to Turo’s peer-to-peer car rental marketplace. Search vehicles, evaluate individual cars and hosts, check dates, and calculate trip costs through clean JSON endpoints.
What You Can Access
Search works from whatever input you have. /search takes a coordinate, a map rectangle, a pick-up location, or a whole market, with filters for trip dates, price, make, model, year, vehicle type, seats, features, fuel and engine attributes, mileage, and host status, plus sorting. /search-by-place resolves a human-readable name such as a city or an airport code and searches it in one call, and /search-by-url reruns a pasted Turo search link with its location, dates, and filters.
Discovery endpoints supply the accepted values: /search-filters returns the filter, sort, and price-range vocabulary for a market, /vehicle-makes and /vehicle-models list manufacturers and models spelled the way the search filters expect, and /location-autocomplete with /location-details turns partial place names into searchable pick-up locations.
Vehicle detail is available by ID or from a public listing URL, covering specifications, host, rates, ratings, photos, location, and rental rules. /vehicle-features adds equipment, safety features, fuel economy, and electric battery range.
Pricing and availability are first-class. /vehicle-daily-pricing returns a day-by-day price calendar, /vehicle-availability answers whether a car is bookable for an exact start and end time, and /vehicle-availability-calendar returns the booked and free intervals. /trip-quote itemises the rate, fees, taxes, and total for one car over a trip window, and /bulk-trip-quotes does the same for up to 25 cars in a single call.
Host and trust data round out the API: vehicle reviews and reputation summaries, host profiles with badges and languages, a host’s full fleet, guest feedback on hosts, and the reviews a member received as either host or guest.
